A idea that I came up with while tumblering and getting a lot of nice classical cars in my dash.
I have also gotten the idea in to my head that driving is one of those things that Sherlock sees as unnecessary knowledge, because why would he need to be able to drive, he always has a minor police officer to abuse or taxi if nothing else

Music listen to while drawing this was for example: Indiana Jones OST and pulp fiction OST

AND (!) Credit for Sherlock an John to BBC, Mark Gatiss, Steven Moffat, Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and above all to sir Arthur Conan Doyle!

Note I made one BIG(!!!) fail with this one, that I didn't see until after: he is driving on the wrong side for an Englishman..

I can easily see this happen! I love the colours, the light, it gives a nice sense of freedom. And who cares the wheel's on the wrong side

Also, you did a lovely job on the car, I love the shadows and lights.

Yeah I know, he kind of put himself their, it always turn out the best when the characters themselves "wants" to be there and in this picture he wanted to, while I had to struggle with John.. he was being grumpy XO

It's probably mostly me that minds the wheel,it's like when you have put on a nice shirt and then you discover a really small stain, that you know that no one else will be able to see but it still disturbs you XP

Teehee, I know how it is, sometimes a character just comes out great, and sometimes refuses

I know, I get that too, a detail that just keeps your eyes on it, while anyone else is hardly likely to see it

That is why you have to accept that sometime it's better to wait for the moment that to force it, while at other time it's better to push forward because the problem is less than you see it and there is no meaning in being arto-rectic (if that makes sense.....)

Yeah he shouldn't. The only reason John didn't drive was because Martin Freeman can't drive in real life.

There is a video on youtube about him trying to find more about his family. He is driven to all the places he needs to go and in an interview it was mentioned. I love the interesting tidbits I can find about my favorite actors.
